Current campaigns

Our recent campaigning activity has been supporting Southall Black Sisters in their fight for continued funding from Ealing Council. We attend the High Court demonstration when the appeal against the decision was heard and welcomed the victory in accepting the right of the BME Third Sector to exist.

We have been very active in lobbying around the Cohesion Guidance consultation and have submitted a response to CLG.

Voice4Change England is supporting NAVCA in its work on Sustaining Grants. We wish to engage BME voluntary and community organisations to come forward with case studies on the importance of grant funding which has been supporting their activities for BME communities. Voice4Change England Partners will be promoting the Sustaining Grants project among their members across England.

How to get involved

You can get involved in our campaigns by contacting Voice4Change England’s Head of Campaigns Martin Ball on martin@voice4change-england.co.uk

He will provide information on the latest campaigning activities and advise you on how you can play a part at national, regional or local level. In particular, he can help with lobbying Members of Parliament in their constituencies and publicising any local campaigning activities.
