Photographs from Parliamentary Launch
The Parliamentary Launch of Voice4Change England on 24th October 2007 was a successful and enjoyable occasion to celebrate the first year of the Partnership.
Attendees came from across England. Below are some guests being welcomed by Voice4Change England staff to the Terrace Pavilion of the House of Commons.

Before the speeches there was an opportunity for friends to catch up. Below Lord Ouseley chats with Tony Durrant, BTEG Vice-Chair, and Caryl Agard, Chair of Voice4Change England.
The speeches began with an introduction to the Voice4Change England Partnership from Carly Agard, the organisation's Chair.

After Voice4Change England Director Vandna Gohil spoke about the organisation's vision of a thriving BME Third Sector, the attendees heard two perspectives from members of the Partnership Council on the need for a national voice. Naheed Arshad-Mather OBE, Chair of the Yorkshire & Humber BME Panel, spoke first and she was followed by Black South West Network's CEO Rupert Daniels.

Following an introduction from Alun Michael MP, Chair of the Thrd Sector Network, it was the turn of Third Sector Mnister Phil Hope MP to set out the Government's support for Voice4Change England.
After the speeches had ended then all Voice4Change England staff and Partners joined with the Members of Parliament present for a big group photograph.

With the finish of the official part of the proceedings then guests were free to mingle and make new friends and contacts.
